It Does Not Matter How Slowly You Go As Long As You Do Not Stop.

Whether you’re dealing with some form of dread in your life, most of us seek comfort in some form whether it smoking, food, drinking, and other compulsive addictions. Some of us are experiencing the problems of having those addictions and would love to break the habit but always seems to get hooked back onto it. Well, you aren’t alone and today I’ll show you the most crucial steps to break free of those chains and live the life you deserve.

Now the first thing to remember when breaking your addiction is that it won’t be easy and you will fail numerous times. Maybe it 10 or 100 but there are millions of people just like you that have experienced the same failure. It doesn’t matter how many times you’ve failed and will fail so long as you keep trying, you will eventually reach your goal. It is important to take it slow at first. For instance, if you are smoking over 6 cigarettes every day, you should cut down at least 1 cigarette a day so smoke 5 on the first day and 4 on the second day, and slowly but surely you will get there. Most addictions have withdrawn symptoms where you experience awful feelings like a craving or being unable to sleep or depression but that natural and will usually go away within a few weeks in terms of smoking. Other addictions may or may not take longer but it important to resist as much as you desire to be free. While you’re at it, you should also do stuff that can turn the cravings off like intense exercising, cold showers, music, yoga, and meditating which can assist you a ton in your journey. One last and very helpful advice is to seek support, many might be scared to share their addiction as it might lead to some judgments but some might be passionate about helping you, whether it family or friends or even a therapist, it good to make it through together than alone.

Overall, the key to beating your addiction is to not give up and make sure to not beat yourself up for your failures as it could make recovery harder. Remember to take it slow and give yourself no time to think about the cravings through a series of occupations and engagements.
